No - the meme is composed locally in a canvas. Nothing leaves your device.
Why doesn't the font look exactly like Impact?
It tries Impact first and falls back to Arial Black if Impact isn't installed. Install Impact (or use macOS/Windows defaults) for the closest classic look.
