About this tool

Add a text or image watermark to one or many photos in a single batch. Useful for protecting work-in-progress designs, marking proofs, branding social-media posts, or stamping copyright notices on photography.

Control position with a 9-point grid, fine-tune with custom offsets, and adjust opacity, scale and rotation. The watermark renders identically across every output file. Originals on disk are never touched - only downloaded copies are watermarked.

Features

  • Text watermark (custom font, size, color, outline)
  • Image watermark (your logo as PNG with transparency)
  • 9-point position grid + custom pixel offset
  • Opacity, scale and rotation controls
  • Batch apply across many images
  • PNG, JPG, WebP output
  • Browser-only - your originals never uploaded
  • Tile mode repeats the watermark across the whole image

How to use it

  1. Drop in one or more images.
  2. Type your text or upload a logo PNG.
  3. Pick position, opacity, scale and rotation.

Frequently asked questions

Are my original files modified?

No - your originals on disk stay untouched. Only the downloaded copies have the watermark.

Can I use a transparent PNG logo?

Yes - alpha is preserved, so a logo with transparent background blends cleanly.

What's the best opacity?

60-80% is visible without overwhelming the photo. Use lower (20-40%) for subtle stamps, 100% for clear copyright notices.

Can the watermark be removed?

Visual watermarks can always be removed by someone with image-editing skills. They're a deterrent, not security.

Does the watermark survive screenshots?

Visible watermarks survive any normal copy or screenshot, since they're part of the pixel data. Invisible (steganographic) watermarks are out of scope for this tool - those need specialised software.

Can I use my own logo?

Yes. Upload a PNG with transparency and position it over the image. Adjust opacity and size with the sliders; the original is never modified, only the exported copy.
