WebP to JPG converter
Convert WebP images to JPG in your browser. No upload, no watermark, no sign-up - your files never leave your device.
Why convert WebP to JPG?
WebP is great for the web because it is smaller than JPG at the same visual quality, but it is still not accepted everywhere. Older photo editors, print services, some email clients, e-commerce uploaders, and many internal tools only accept JPG (or JPEG). When you hit one of those walls, you need a quick, private way to convert without uploading your photos to a stranger's server.
How this converter works
The conversion happens entirely inside your browser. We decode the WebP using the browser's native image decoder, paint it onto an HTML canvas, fill the background white (JPG has no transparency), and re-encode the canvas as JPG at the quality you pick. Nothing is uploaded. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
About JPG quality
92% is a good default - visually lossless for almost every photograph at a fraction of the size you'd get at 100%. Drop to 80% for web thumbnails. Push to 100% only when you need a pristine archival copy.
